I got an illustrator for my second novel. Deb Layman will be finishing the illustrations in a few more days and then we send it off to press. George’s pond also made it up to #5 on Amazons top new novels list this week. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Happy…happy!

Also “George’s Pond” got a positive review from Kirkus Reviews saying,
“A pleasant fantasy that delivers a strong message of friendship,”-Kirkus

It’s difficult to get a good review from them so I did feel very happy when I saw it.

I have finished 135 pages of the dragon novel which should be about 200-250 pages when finished. I can’t say too much details yet, but I find myself exploring new areas and a new world of writing within this novel about a high school boy named West Tate. I’m not like other writers that can sit down and zoom through a book in one month. I focus deeply upon each and every page, giving each purpose and excitement keeping the readers attention growing fonder over the story and character. Time is not important, how it is told is pertinent.
